SKIN NEEDLING
Skin Needling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is an advanced skin treatment designed to stimulate the skin’s natural regenerative response.
Using precision microneedling technology, controlled micro-channels are created within the skin. This activates the skin’s natural repair process and encourages the production of new collagen and elastin.
As the skin repairs and remodels, collagen is progressively renewed, helping to improve skin firmness, texture, tone and overall skin quality.

Your treatment starts with your skin.
Before commencing your Skin Needling program, your Neue skin therapist will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and determine the most appropriate treatment approach.
Where required, a consultation and skin analysis will be completed using our 3D Magic Mirror Analysis, giving us a detailed picture of your skin and helping us establish a personalised treatment plan.
Your therapist will also discuss your treatment, expected response, aftercare and the products recommended to support your results.
DURING YOUR TREATMENT
Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepared before your Skin Needling treatment begins.
A customised selection of active serums is applied according to your skin’s individual needs. Precision microneedling then creates controlled micro-channels within the skin, stimulating its natural repair and collagen-building response.
The sensation varies according to the treatment level and area being treated. Your therapist will adjust the treatment according to your skin and individual tolerance.
Following treatment, the skin may appear flushed and feel warm or stimulated. This response is temporary and forms part of the skin’s natural renewal process.
Your therapist will provide detailed post-treatment instructions and advise you on the products and treatments best suited to support your results.
YOUR SKIN NEEDLING PROGRAM
Skin Needling is most effective when approached as a progressive treatment program, rather than a one-off treatment.
Your recommended treatment frequency will depend on your skin condition, treatment level and individual goals. As a general guide, Skin Needling programs are typically performed approximately 4 weeks apart, allowing the skin time to complete its natural repair and collagen-remodelling process.
Your therapist will recommend the number and frequency of treatments appropriate for your skin.
Once your initial program is complete, maintenance treatments can be incorporated into your ongoing skin health plan.
HOW DOES SKIN NEEDLING WORK?
Skin Needling works by creating controlled micro-injuries within the skin to activate the body’s natural repair response.
These microscopic channels trigger a cascade of biological processes involved in skin repair and regeneration, including the stimulation of collagen and elastin production.
As new collagen is produced and the tissue remodels, the skin can become firmer, smoother and more refined, with improvements in texture and the appearance of fine lines, pores and scarring.
Unlike ablative treatments, Skin Needling does not intentionally remove the surface layers of the skin. This allows the treatment to work with the skin’s natural regenerative processes while maintaining the integrity of the epidermis.
