What to expect with my Epidermal Levelling treatment?

It is important and standard practice prior to any epidermal levelling treatment at Neue Skin Clinic to have a comprehensive consultation. This is where you can communicate your goals for the treatment whilst your Neue therapist can assess your problem areas and devise the best course of action. At this time, a thorough assessment of your skin concerns is performed, any post treatment requirements detailed and your overall expected outcome communicated to you.

On the day of your treatment, you will be escorted into one of our state of the art treatment rooms by your Neue skin therapist, knowing you are in the best hands possible. You will be confident Neue’s clinic hygiene standards are second to none, you will know exactly what your treatment entails, what to expect during the post treatment process, and most importantly that you will achieve the results discussed with your therapist. As your treatment commences you will feel tightening of the skin as your therapist applies tension to the area receiving the Epiblade. This is not painful or uncomfortable and no anaesthetic is required. Initially, the face or area treated may be slightly red, although this will quickly resolve. There is little to no downtime after an Epidermal Leveling treatment and patients can return to normal activities immediately. IPL or LED therapy can also be used in conjunction with the treatment to increase the benefits and maintain the newly acquired, youthful complexion.

Depending on the treatment programmed design specifically for you, you will return 4-6 weeks later for your continuing programme. You will also receive guidance on the best post treatment home care plan for you to maximise your treatment results.

What is Epidermal Levelling?

Epidermal levelling performed on the back helps to reduce the bacterial colony existing around the follicles contributing to back acne.
